What is pedal assist?

Pedal assist is a system which will allow you to ride your electric bike like a traditional bicycle, which still assisting you with motor power. So you’ll still get the exercise but you won’t be exhausted in long rides.
The system uses our proprietary torque sensor system in the crank. This system constantly measuring how much torque you’re applying on the pedals, checking the terrain conditions and gives you the optimal motor assistance.

Start pedaling and the sensor tells the motor to turn on. You can adjust the level of assistance with the LCD screen from 1 (lowest amount of assistance) to 5 (highest amount of assistance) to match your desired speed.

Since you are pedaling, using our bikes in pedal assist mode will generally result in a longer range compared to throttle the only mode.

NOTE: It is important to apply the brakes when you’re stationary. Because sometimes when as bicycle riders, we tend to push on the pedal even if we’re stationary. This will activate your motor and may cause an accident. So it is very important to apply on brakes whenever you’re stationary.
